Cingular Go Phone Information: Cingular offers 2 Prepaid Plans to choose from:
"Pick Your Plan" and "Pay as you Go." The "Pay as you Go" is the true prepaid plan, features
free mobile to mobile minutes, and you add minutes onto your phone using your credit card, cash, or by purchasing prepaid minute cards.
The "Pick Your Plan" option requires monthly payments but still keeps you free of any contracts and costs are still low. Most of our
readers have preferred the true "Pay as you Go" plan.
Go Phone Costs: Costs for the "Pay as you Go" plan vary slightly based upon your enrollment type when you sign-up. Their
'Best Value' plan provides the lowest per-minute costs, just $0.10/minute. This is the lowest per minute usage rate we've seen. A
$1 access fee applies on days you use your phone. Their 'Simple Value' prepaid plan requires no daily access fee, allows unlimited
mobile to mobile calls, and charges $0.25/minute.
How to Add Minutes to your Cingular Prepaid Plan:
- Calling 611 from your Go Phone
- Call 800-901-9878 from any landline
- In person by purchasing a Pay as you Go minute card (available at grocery stores, etc.)
